It’s go time for Chicago. Come what may, This is Now is ready to wander into the world. The crew is set, the producer frantic, and host at the ready. As you might expect, we’ve been in touch with police contacts, OG radicals, nightclub owners, and even the Texan crafting a neon sign of Kamala Harris for the convention. We’re likely of course to brush up against the usual mix of libertarians, protesters, and familiar media faces that events like the DNC draw, but we promise to steer clear of the tedium. Expect “bits and bobs” from the shoot to appear here—perhaps a coffee strategy session with Baby Balls, a Gurdjieff inspired “Toast to the Idiots” at the bar or even some Dogme 95-style street scenes chatting with strangers and looking for trouble. You know, business as usual in the small world of non-consumerist travel tv shows. Lastly, if you have any Chicagoland tips for us say them now or forever…
Hasta luego, comrades.
